MLS Eastern Conference As NCAAM Tournament Teams

Which MLS team would be the #1 seed in March and which Cinderella would the #15 Revolution be?

Here in Connecticut we believe that March is the greatest month ever of all time and also includes the first weekend in April. If you think we’re insufferable now with Dan Hurley and the Huskies as the defending Men’s champions and current #1 East Regional seed, just wait until Geno, Paige Bueckers and the Women win their 12th title.

Or UConn sweeps March Madness for the third time, which would give them a 3-0 lead against literally everyone in the sport who haven’t done it once. Combined.

So what if we took the MLS Eastern Conference standings and gave them their NCAAM Tournament counterpart? We’re going to be doing a little reseeding to break some ties and factor in teams PPG standings but for the most part it will be a fairly comparable one through fifteen.
