Former Seacoast United Defender Named to Canada Men's National Team Roster
The defender joins former Revolution winger Tajon Buchanan on the June roster
Jesse March has named his first squad as manager of the Canadian Men’s National Team and fans in New England will see some familiar faces.
Former New England Revolution winger Tajon Buchanan highlights the squad alongside the likes of Alphonso Davies, Jonathan David, and Stephen Eustaquio. But fans in New England will also notice that former Seacoast United defender Moise Bombito also made the roster.
In 2022, Bombito played for Seacoast United in USL League Two, helping them win the Northeast Division title and being named to the USL League Two Team of the Year. The defender was selected third overall by the Colorado Rapids in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft.
Bombito has made four appearances for Canada on the international stage. In 2024, the defender has made 14 appearances for Colorado and has tallied two goals.
Canada is set to play the Netherlands on Thursday, June 6 and France on Sunday, June 9.
