So, in other words, the problems last year can be laid to the culture of the team last year? What made it different this year other than the fact that Porter tossed just about everyone off the team? I am sorry, but this is a bunch of BS.

The only culture they had from Porter was who was he going to throw under the bus. He put all the blame on the players. They couldn't build a culture with the high school coach.

I don’t think last year was bad only because of the culture, but the culture and results matched in 2024.

It is still preseason at the moment. Whether or not this 2025 refresh has a strong culture is something that will be tested like Sam says. The first goal they concede, the first lead they lose, the first game they lose - how do they respond to those setbacks? That’s when we will learn about the culture of this team.

And, after 2024, doubting Caleb Porter as a fan is a completely legitimate perspective. We are all waiting for proof that the org is moving in the right direction.

Being a professional sports coach invites people with real character flaws to become abusive Svengalis, and Porter was that kind of jackass last year.

This year they haven't given up a goal, haven't had a player pout yet, but here we go with this "character" messaging, as if these administrators and scouts looked deep into the soul of each of these far-flung Foreign Legion types and found only the choicest diamonds of undiscovered total Porter commitment.

Personally, I'd rather see the bench play, but Panayatou and Buck are destined for the pine.
