The New England Revolution faced off against Orlando City on Saturday evening and it was once again a disappointing night for Revs fans as New England suffered a 2-1 loss.

The Revs deployed a starting XI that featured some returning key players. Aljaz Ivacic started in net behind the center back trio of Tanner Beason, Mamadou Fofana, and Brayan Ceballos. Matt Polster and Alhassan Yusuf started in the midfield while Carles Gil started as a No. 10.

Ilay Feingold returned to the starting XI and started at right wing back while Peyton Miller was on the left. Leo Campana once again paired with Luca Langoni up top.

So what do you need to know about the match that saw New England achieve an eight-game winless streak and go winless in six consecutive regular-season home games for the first time since 2011? Here are three thoughts.
