The New England Revolution faced off against D.C. United, another poor-performing team and were able to secure a much-needed three points with a 2-0 win.

Head coach Caleb Porter had his side remain in 4-2-3-1 as Matt Turner started in net, his return to MLS play. Peyton Miller, Mamadou Fofana, Brayan Ceballos, and Ilay Feingold made up the backline.

Matt Polster and Alhassan Yusuf served as defensive midfielders while Carles Gil was in his usual No. 10 role. Tomas Chancalay and Luca Langoni were on the wings while Leo Campana was the lone striker up top.

But what do you need to know about the match? Here are three thoughts.
