After The Blazing Musket reported that the New England Revolution was not actively discussing the transfer of Brayan Ceballos to Independiente Sante Fe, the Colombian club has stated that it will not be acquiring the center back.
The Colombian club previously had its president state that depending on the number of Copa Libertadores tickets sold.
Ceballos will be a key piece of the back line after a 2025 campaign saw him be named Revolution Defender of the Year. He started 29 matches and scored a goal in 2025.
The New England Revolution begin the 2026 MLS season on February 21 against Nashville SC.
