One of the most iconic celebrations in Major League Soccer history resulted in a yellow card. Ten years later, the referee who brandished it has offered an apology.

In October 2016, Kei Kamara scored the final goal in the New England Revolution's 3-0 win over the Montreal Impact. He proceeded to get low and thrust his hips, a move known as "twerking."

Referee Chico Grajeda issued a yellow, which the striker was not happy about. Grajeda recently reflected on the moment via an Instagram comment, saying, "Sorry about the yellow card bro!"

Kamara apparently harbors no hard feelings, replying, "We made the celebration legendary."

They certainly did.
