The 2026 SheBelieves Cup kicks off in less than two weeks, and the United States Women’s National Team has officially announced its roster.
Head coach Emma Hayes named the following 26 players:
Goalkeepers: Claudia Dickey (Seattle Reign FC), Mandy McGlynn (Utah Royals), Phallon Tullis-Joyce (Manchester United)
Defenders: Jordyn Bugg (Seattle Reign FC), Emily Fox (Arsenal FC), Naomi Girma (Chelsea FC), Lilly Reale (Gotham FC), Tara Rudd (Washington Spirit), Emily Sonnett (Gotham FC), Gisele Thompson (Angel City FC), Kennedy Wesley (San Diego Wave FC), Kate Wiesner (Washington Spirit)
Midfielders: Sam Coffey (Manchester City, ENG), Lindsey Heaps (OL Lyonnes), Claire Hutton (Bay FC), Riley Jackson (North Carolina Courage), Rose Lavelle (Gotham FC), Olivia Moultrie (Portland Thorns FC), Jaedyn Shaw (Gotham FC), Lily Yohannes (OL Lyonnes)
Forwards: Maddie Dahlien (Seattle Reign FC), Jameese Joseph (Chicago Stars FC), Trinity Rodman (Washington Spirit), Emma Sears (Racing Louisville FC), Ally Sentnor (Kansas City Current), Alyssa Thompson (Chelsea FC)
“The SheBelieves Cup is a fantastic tournament which gives us the opportunity to replicate the group stage of a FIFA tournament,” Hayes said in a press release. “Three quality games in quick succession also allow us to replicate conditions that will prepare us for the World Cup qualifying campaign this fall. As always, we want to keep developing our player pool to be more and more prepared. As we gain more experience, I expect our standards to keep improving.”
Notable absences include Sophia Wilson and Catarina Macario. Hayes said the return to play protocol for Wilson has not given her enough time to become fit enough for camp. Macario has been recovering from a heel injury and was not available for selection.
The head coach noted that the team is working on developing more center forwards as well as two to four centerbacks that can play behind the more experienced defenders like Girma and Sonnett.
Heaps is the most senior player on the squad with 170 caps, followed by Lavelle and Sonnett, who are the only other players with more than 100 caps. Otherwise, the average caps per player on this roster is 30.4.
