The dmids lack of confidence in making transition passes hurts in so many ways.
Just one example - because so few attacking opportunities come his way (as a result of Polster and Kaye continually passing laterally and backwards) Vrioni feels extra pressure to get results on each of his very infrequent chances, so he plays tight. If he was confident that his midfield would be getting him touches on a regular basis, he’d play much more naturally.
I've lost all hope for Vrioni but it's a good point. If he had more chances a normal consequence would be less pressure each time and perhaps that would indeed help him out.
Great article. The team did look good, but for me I'm not sold yet it is only one game. They need to put keep this up and not have one good game then bomb for 3 or 4. I think they had a little bit of lady luck on their side in this game. It was a perfect game but it was one of the better games games they have played this season. They just have to fine tune it and run with it.
Another great description of what works and what doesn't. Kindly send a copy to the front office.
Thanks as always!
I think he’s shown he’s got the finishing skill. It feels to me like the period before Buksa finally developed chemistry with the rest of the attack.
I hope so, but I was one of the last people thinking he could come good. You might be the only one left, Bob! And I hope you're right.
they could turn into Watford in terms of coach sacking rn tbh

Thanks! Definitely need to at least win in back to back games at this point to even think a turnaround is possible.
Agree and play against and beat top teams to see if this is for real or not. Hope it is fingers crossed.
