One of their better games this season. Wasn't the usual keep away style they have been playing, they came to play. The only real low lite was Vancouvers second goal as Ivacic standing like a statue and not trying to make the save. Hoping Bucks injury isn't serious.
Vironi had great holdup play on that first goal. He fought for the long ball at half, brought it down and took a foul. Then it was just a couple passes until the ball was in the net.
BUT when he basically stole the shot from Esmir in the second half, that was the classic Vironi we've been seeing. Two steps forward, two steps back.
Hopefully Porter will stick with the "if it ain't broke ..." strategy he's using to keep Romney in the lineup and leave the dmids as they were (although Buck's injury seems to make that unlikely).
I know that correlation is not causation but Romney 3 starts in row - Revs 3 wins in a row. Draw your own conclusions.
