Should have lost by more than 1. Some horrific play from our center backs and defensive mids should have been punished but it wasn’t. Ivacic made awful mistakes that weren’t punished. This was the dumbest of luck and the team needs a major rebuild with all new people in charge. The longer we stick with the Porter/Onalfo clown show the longer we will fight for 13th in the East every year. The organization is embarrassing
What the hell happened? The Revs played like an actual team of pros in the first half, making FC Dallas look like a team of thoroughly outclassed beer-leaguers, and then - a tie? In extra time?
This year’s fiasco is on the absentee landlord ownership. The Krafts are, and have been, incompetent at soccer. No SSS; bad front-office hires with long tenures; bad relationship with the press with too much official secrecy; head coaching disasters; the whole thing seems a tax write-off while playing with expansion fee Ponzi money for them.
First, he waited way too long before making most of his subs, then was way too defensive in his choices. Panayotou has been playing way too well to be relegated to a measly late few minutes. Surely a fresh Panayotou is far superior to a tired McNamara, no?
Then, Porter got the Farrell for Kaye sub right, but why wait so long? Farrell was a nightmare in defense last game, but he's actually been pretty steady in his dmid minutes (though Lloyd Sam seemed unaware that he'd ever played there!). Kaye was a turnover machine all game. I'd start Farrell over him at dmid next game.
And, no R2 call-up forward for Bobby Wood through 90 minutes? Did we actually have to wait for him to limp off the field?
Finally, bringing in Mensah for a midfielder is a signal to the opposition to push up and attack even more ferociously, because clearly we're not interested in doing any more scoring.
Snatching defeat (well a tie) from the jaws of Victory. We should sign Scott Caldwell tp fil the role of the Human Victory Cigar, Farrell just doesn't have that magic.

No comment on Porter's disastrous sub decisions?

Thank you for the update. Kessler has been reckless all season, more than previous years.
