This makes sense from Apples point bc you now have potential 24 'play off' games where more then half the country is still watching, as currently the MLS viewership drops once your team is out. I don't think (hope) this is going to be a long term change, just a jump to get over
I did not realize it was best of 3 - I thought they were introducing a “group stage” where everyone plays each other twice. Either way it’s nuts.
