While it's a mystery about what's going on with Vaclik (he wasn't good enough/ready enough for a single minute of play?), I'd rather find out what we have in Jackson now - it may end up being the singular achievement for a season that has turned into a downward spiral.
Edwards is a good shot-stopper, but his distribution is really poor - with plenty of balls sent out of touch, blasted upfield to the opposing defense or riskily targeted to our central midfield under significant pressure.
Jackson did have a decent game in Nashville, the back line let him down. Good to see him going against Philly. As far as Vaclik the homework wasn't done, he was either hurt or out of shape. He was a panic buy.
Jackson will do ok he had a great season with Revs2 and he will shine with the help from the back line.
