The fact that Peay doesn't see the line from the "defensive changes" to "guys [not] making plays and executing better" is disqualifying for a head coach. You can play your goalkeeper as a striker and the formation may remain theoretically sound, but you'll have a hell of a time getting the guy to "make plays and execute better" in that role
