The Boston Unity group, an all-female ownership team looking to bring an NWSL club back to Massachusetts, will present during Thursday's virtual meeting about the White Stadium project.
As reported by the Boston Globe in April, the city of Boston is looking to make improvements to the aging 10,000-seat stadium. The goal is to create a space that can be used by Boston Public School athletes, as well as other members of the community.

The current plan is to improve the staff office, press box, and locker rooms. There’s also a possibility of building a strength and conditioning suite, gymnasium, and indoor turf field.
To help fund this project, the city issued a Request for Proposals. The hope is to find a partner who is willing to contribute to renovation and maintenance costs, pay rent, and provide community benefits.
The only response to the RFP came from the Boston Unity group. On Thursday, the City will share its vision for a revitalized White Stadium and the Boston Unity group will present their proposal. The meeting will include an opportunity for community feedback.
