It makes sense and it also hurts. To see a local guy come up and get first team minutes and then be put aside doesn’t feel right. Noel will always have fans in New England.
To my untrained eye, I don't get how Buck isn't viewed as a more talented and effective player than Yueill. He's more athletic and nearly as technical. I'd totally understand him being the first off the bench in central midfield, but the idea that he couldn't get minutes was ludicrous to me.
While I'm glad for Buck as this will hopefully give him an opportunity to play, I get the feeling that this another case of Porter not liking the players who were here under Bruce. With the notable exceptions of Gil and Polster, Porter seems to have no use for players who were here when he arrived. Best of luck to Noel - I wish him well.
I am happy for Buck to be going to a team and a coach that will give him minutes to play. I don't believe the excuse that Porter gave. Porter suks as a coach yes he has won 2 cups but some people can step into a bucket a crap and come out smelling like a rose. With him coaching the Revs I doubt we will be seeing a cup raised at Gillette.
Not sure how I missed this, but yet another case of Porter just tossing aside players from the Arena era. I cannot stand this putz, and although the team has found a way to win, in my mind, he still needs to GO.
