Ugh. I clicked on your “what went right” audio representation link. My shame is immense.
I laughed out loud at the “arc of the season” graph. This is a great read. I agree it’s tough to pick a season lowlight / low-point. I was going to say the “CCC” 9pm, motocross, 9-2 aggregate exit until you reminded me of all the other low points. Great comprehensive overview. At least we will always have June 🥰
Fun fact, it originally said that it was cricket audio and I deleted that when editing and then Andy asked if I clicked on the link I had to do further investigating. It was amazing.
I think this is a very well-done and diplomatic rundown, but this is a year-end summary for a storied, original MLS team that JUST GAVE UP THE THIRD MOST GOALS IN LEAGUE HISTORY, and, to top it off, and it's gonna hafta be in caps again, SCORED THE LEAST GOALS IN MLS this year.
That is just bad to the bone, on both ends, so there should be room in the comments sections for fans saying how godawful the Revs were this year under Krafts/Onalfo/Porter, with a high payroll to boot. They stunk, and stunk badly. This was unbelievable and pathetic.
YES: “Ahhh June. … bologna in the middle of the sadness-sandwich that was the Revs 2024 season.” Yes.
That Cincy win gave me hope, which was one of the worst emotional investments of my entire life. The Montreal blowout gave me joy, though, so I agree with their characterizations in the context of this sadness sandwich.
Great breakdown! This season was painful from start to finish, and the numbers clearly seem to back up the eye test
Superb. Well done.
Excellent commentary. Thank you.

Got 'em 😂
Can’t wait for the Curt Onalfo and Caleb Porter clown car to dive off a cliff rather than meaningfully address any of these problems

Some quickness at striker would seem like a no-brainer. Between Vrioni and Wood, they have to be the slowest striker-pair in MLS.
Like and comment for the title alone. I’ll be back in a few after reading the whole thing.
