Vermont Green FC Releases 2025 Jersey, Gains New Title Partner
“Yerba Madre has become a part of the fabric of our club, from players preparing for matches to fans enjoying a cold can in the stands."
Vermont Green FC announced some major news as it gained a new title sponsor and released it’s 2025 kit.
“We’re thrilled to unveil our new home kit,” said club co-founder Matthew Wolff. “The shirt is a deep green, with white trim and collar. The subtle print features vines and leaves, representing our club’s growth, and honoring our state’s public institutions, schools, town assemblies, and our cherished democracy.”
Each kit is made from approximately 23 recycled plastic water bottles and is Global Recycling Standard certified. Vermont Green FC is playing a small part in helping PlayerLayer, who produces the kit, convert more than 12 million recycled plastic water bottles into new products each year.
The two factories that produce the club’s kits are covered in 992 solar panels that will generate power savings equivalent to over 340 tons of carbon dioxide. This is equivalent to taking nearly 74 passenger vehicles off the road each year.
Fans of the Green are encouraged to recycle old kits, shirts, and hoodies at the Recover Brands Closed Loop drop-off at all home matches.
In addition to the kit launch, Yerba Madre (formerly known as Guayakí Yerba Mate) was announced as a title sponsor. The multi-year partnership includes Yerba Madre’s logo prominently displayed on the front of Vermont Green FC’s home match jerseys.
“This partnership is a powerful statement about what sport can stand for,” said Emily Kortlang, chief marketing officer for Yerba Madre. “Vermont Green lives its values on and off the pitch, and at Yerba Madre, we’re proud to stand with them. Together, we’re showing that yerba mate isn’t just fueling players—it’s fueling a movement rooted in shaping the future of football culture in America.”
