Taking a look to see how the Championship winning squad is performing in college
With four members of the Vermont Green FC making the 2025 Hermann Trophy Midseason Watch List, let’s check in on how other members of the squad are performing in the current collegiate campaign.
The easiest way to do this is by checking out the happenings of the Vermont Catamounts. The Catammounts are 8-0-5 (2-0-1 in conference). Outside of the clutch Maximilian Kissel, Ryan Zellefrow has three goals and two assists. Additionally, Nick Lockermann has two goals and one assist while Marcell Papp has a goal and three assists.
On the defensive end, Niklas Herczeg has started all 13 games, with a 0.77 goals against average and 37 saves. The sophomore also has six clean sheets. Defender Rui Aoki has also appeared in 10 games.
Finally, Ioannis Vassiliou has appeared in six games while Gianluca Armellino has appeared in four games.
Next up is heading down to the University of North Carolina Greensboro. The Spartans might be led by Enzo Dovlo, who currently ranks seventh in the nation in total points (20), 11th in assists (six), and 13th in goals (seven), but Arnaud Tattevin is right behind him. The striker has six goals and two assists this season. Additionally, Julien Le Bourdoulous has two goals and four assists.
Out west, Gabe Fernandez has played in nine games so far in his sophomore campaign while fellow sophomore Alex Hall has played in 12 games with three goals and six assists.
Down in Maryland, Luca Costabile has a goal and an assist in 10 games while Stephane Njike has started in nine games and has four goals and two assists. Joseph Picotto has also appeared in one game.
Center back Victor Akoum transferred to Indiana and has appeared in five games for the Hoosiers. Goalkeeper Judwellin Michel has also started one game for Indiana.
Co-Captain Moussa Ndiaye has played in 12 games so far and has tallied an assist in over 1000 minutes played. Virginia Commonwealth University teammate Mohammed Ibrahim has appeared in 13 games, scoring three goals.
Amoni Thomas has appeared in 12 games for Wake Forest, tallying four assists. Down in South Carolina, striker Tyler Trimnal has appeared in 13 games, scoring three goals and two assists.
Diego Rived is currently in his senior season at THE Boston University and has appeared in 11 games. Ayoub Lajhar has appeared in 10 games and has a goal and three assists. Providence College’s Brandon Marshall has played in five games. Midfielder Eskil Gjerde has appeared in 11 games and has one goal and two assists for Drake University.
