Vermont Green FC’s 2024 schedule has been released meaning that you can officialy begin to make your summer plans.
The Green will open the season on the road against Boston City on Saturday May 18 at 4 p.m. After playing Blackrock FC on the road after that, Vermont’s first home match is on Saturday May 25, at 2 p.m. versus Pathfinder FC.y
Vermont closes out its season on Saturday July 13, at 6 p.m. at Western Mass Pioneers. Fans definitely won’t want to miss the home game against the Pioneers on Saturday July 15, at 7 p.m. along with the matches against Seacoast United on Tuesday June 11, at 6 p.m. at Seacoast United and on Sunday July 7, at 2 p.m. Seacoast United visits Virtue Field.
“We improved so much from our inaugural season to our second one, and it’s been an absolute joy to compete at such a high level in front of so many dedicated fans,” said Adam Pfeifer, Vermont Green FC Sporting Director. “We look forward to building on our successes on the pitch in front of more sold out crowds at Virtue Field.”
It is interesting to see that Pfeifer is only listed as Sporting Director in the release. Also around the league, Seacoast United and Western Mass only face each either once while Vermont will face each team twice.
Over 1,200 fans have already secured their 2024 Season Tickets, which means there are fewer than 50 remaining. Season Tickets are just $80 for adults and $40 for youth. Single match tickets will be available at a later date.
You can find the entire schedule here.
I asked you guys this before we never got a response: why is it that you cover Vermont Green so closely and never a word about Western Mass Pioneers which are arguably closer to the population heart of southern New England?
