Trio of Revolution Names Receive International Call-Ups
Three names from the Revs organization will return to the international stage in October.
October’s international window will once again see the New England Revolution well represented as Alex Monis, Allan Oyirwoth, and Dor Turgeman will represent their respective national teams.
Revolution II forward Alex Monis returns to the Philippines National Team as the nation prepares for an Asian Cup Qualifying series against Timor-Leste. The series begins with both sides square off inside Territory Rugby League Stadium in Australia on October 9. October 14 sees the Philippines host Timor-Leste inside New Clark City Athletics Stadium.
Monis will look to add to his international resume, which has seen him tally two assists over 14 caps.
It’s unclear if Monis’ international duty will impact his availability for Revolution II’s playoff run. Revs II wraps up the 2025 regular season on the road against Inter Miami II on Sunday.
Midfielder Allan Oyirwoth returns to the Ugandan National Team as the nation prepares for a pair of World Cup Qualifying matches. Both qualifying matches will see Uganda on the road as they face Botswana on October 9 and wrap up the window on October 13 against Algeria.
October’s slate of games will give Oyirwoth the chance to add to his international resume, which has seen him tally one assist in his four previous caps with Uganda.
Forward Dor Turgeman returns to the Israel National Team as the nation prepares for a pair of World Cup Qualifying matches. Israel opens the window on October 11th when they travel to Ullevaal Stadion to face Norway before traveling to Bluenergy Stadium to face Italy on October 14th.
Turgeman will look to add to his international resume, which has seen him tally one goal and one assist in his previous 12 caps.
The trio joins defender Peyton Miller, who’s currently on international duty with the United States Under-20s at the FIFA Under-20 World Cup.
Miller clocked 32 minutes off the bench in the United States’ dominant 9-1 win over New Caledonia to open the group stage on September 29.
Miller and the U.S. U-20s return to action on Thursday when they face France. October 5 sees the U.S. wrap up the group stage with a meeting against South Africa.
