I’m sure the Krafts are thrilled that Buck’s value plummeted since we implemented our new system of not attacking ever in favor of having a kick around 60 yards from goal to get those possession numbers up
Of course his value is going to drop if they don't play him. Similarly his performance is going to drop if he never gets any steady playing time.
Porter settled on Kaye and Polster as his dmids, but neither have played well enough that they should be untouchable. Buck hasn't gotten a serious opportunity since early in the season.
I like Buck but I feel like his prestige grew faster than his actual contributions to the team. If the Revs can get some real money for him and turn that into something good in New England, great. But I have a feeling we're just gonna lose an exciting young prospect and have one less option on the bench for a while.
Would hate to see Buck go but he isn't getting any playing time here. He doesn't seem to fit into the Grand Wizard Porters plans so it would be a good move for him.
Probably best for Buck to get off this sinking ship as quickly as possible. The locker room and training environment are going to get much worse before they get better. Ideally he goes to a Championship side in England. Mid-table team, not chasing promotion, not fearing relegation. 46 games per season . He needs reps in a professional environment with a strong culture. That ain't New England.
Bummer for Buck leaving NE. I'd much rather Porter leaves than Buck, but so be it.
Separately, I don't think keeping Vironi is the worst move. But adding a striker that doesn't require service to be able to perform would be helpful. Preferably one who can create chances on their own.

Hate to see Buck go, but given that this coach has not tried to get him involved, I would say he deserves a chance elsewhere.
