Report: Damario McIntosh Reportedly Set to Sign Homegrown Deal
The 17-year-old Revs II defender is set to ascend the Pro Player Pathway
The Revolution’s Pro Player Pathway will roll strong in 2025 as Revolution II defender Damario McIntosh is set to ascend to the first team ahead of the new season.
News of McIntosh’s addition was first broken by Tom Bogert in June, as he reported the Newark, California was set to become the club’s 14th homegrown signing ahead of 2025. Caleb Pongratz also reported more recently that McIntosh would ink a Homegrown deal.
After joining the Revolution Academy in 2023, McIntosh notched two goals and one assist with the U17s. March 13th, 2024, saw McIntosh join MLS NEXT Pro side Revolution II under an Amateur agreement.
McIntosh became a permanent feature with Revolution II on June 11th, 2024, when he signed a deal through the remainder of the season.
The 17-year-old right back ended the 2024 season with 25 appearances where he clocked 1,744 minutes.
McIntosh will become the ninth player to join the first team from Revolution II when the deal becomes official.
Brandon Bye better step up his game.
Love to see the academy doing things. I assume he’ll still be playing for Revs II primarily this year?
