Sounds super hypothetical, but if we’re dealing in thought experiments: how do Buksa’s experiences in France and/or a return to MLS affect the Revs’ reputation as a pathway to Europe/larger things for aspiring players? Is his injury in any way linked to his time in New England? We know the turf doesn’t have a good reputation...
I don’t understand how the Revs would be in any fault here. They sold him for good money. You can’t expect the Revs to leave a DP spot open for players they sell in case it doesn’t work out... that would constitute “catastrophic mismanagement”.
Certainly not leaving a spot open, but having the flexibility to buy someone down from DP status? I hope we would have that. But we also have so many strikers, too -- I’d like to see us have kept some room on the roster if there was even the slightest chance of him coming back. I hope we have a sell on or some kind of clauses to get some kind of benefit worst case scenario.

Great question
This would be just catastrophic mismanagement from the revs if he’s back in MLS in another roster
