Blazing podcast - totally insightful and enjoyable.

Two favorite lines of the show

"Blah-blah-blah machine" -

"Maybe we'll get some more center backs."

Player of the Match - Tommy MacNamara was an epic choice. He should be working on his next graduate degree, but the dude gave his sweaty, close-copped aged all.

From two years ago, Revs sitting second in the Supporters Shield, us watching a Noel Buck line drive go into the side netting blasting the Foxboro crowd into a huge ovation, to this, the total dissolution of a team, with no prospects for anything, no offense - is this worse than the Friedel era?

Thanks for listening! We try to bring some humor to laugh off the pain, happy you enjoyed the banter.

I think we are in Friedel-era territory for sure, but I'll give it a little bit longer before I declare us there. Maybe there will be some turnaround or better vision after this window, but things seem bleak. A last-place finish a few years removed from the highs of 2021 and a contending team last year would certainly a low point (or near low point) for the franchise.

Great show you guys covered a lot. It will be interesting to see what happens this summer and if there are any changes for 2025. Hoping there are.

This episode was practically medicinal for me. If I had been on the show, I would have been a mirror of Tom. Nonsense should be seen as such and not accepted. Porter is a joke. The "turnaround" was always a farce and the stats proved it all along. Articles here made that clear even before the team returned to their bad norm.

And I tip my cap to the comment about private equity Seacoast United. IMO private equity should be legislated to stop ruining everything it touches buuuut we can't have nice things.
