Revolution Recap Named Finalist For Football Content Award
Revolution Podcast is one of 15 finalists for the "Best Podcast - International" category
It’s a proud day for us on the Revolution Recap team, as we have been named a finalist for the “Best Podcast - International” category by the Football Content Awards.
Originally founded in 2012, the Football Content Awards is an award ceremony that seeks to honor the best soccer content online, from independent coverage to media organizations.
This year, the organization’s 60-judge panel evaluated over 36,000 nominations to name the finalists for 34 categories, which includes Revolution Recap being named one of 15 finalists in the Best Podcast - International category.
“Covering the New England Revolution and Major League Soccer, Revolution Recap has evolved into a top podcast, offering detailed match recaps and interviews with soccer personalities,” said the FCA’s description of our show. “Founder Sean Donahue’s extensive media background underscores the podcast’s credibility.”
Along with New England Soccer Today co-founder and reporter Sean Donahue, the show is hosted by a trio of contributors from The Blazing Musket: Greg Johnstone, Andy Judd, and Tom Pinzone.
Additionally, The Blazing Musket reporter Seth Macomber has interviewed a variety of local and national experts on the show this year, which include Taylor Twellman, Lloyd Sam, Tom Bogert, Brad Feldman, Lori Lindsey, and many more.
The winners will be determined by a split of the expert panel and fan voting. Fans are able to vote up to five times across the FCA website, Twitter/X, Threads, Facebook, and Instagram. Full rules on how to vote can be found on the FCA website here.
Voting is now open and will run through October 13th at 7 PM eastern time (midnight UK time). Winners will be announced November 21st at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
On a personal note, thank you to all of our supporters who have listened, provided feedback, left reviews, and helped us continue the show throughout the years. This is a great honor, and we couldn’t have done it without the support we’ve received.
