Revolution Acquire International Roster Spot
The Revs get a much-needed international roster spot in exchange for some GAM!
The New England Revolution gained some roster flexibility Tuesday afternoon as the club acquired a 2025 International Roster Spot from the Vancouver Whitecaps in exchange for $250,000 in 2025 General Allocation Money.
The Revs could use that newly acquired international spot to register designated player Tomás Chancalay. The Argentine attacker has been out of action since June 27, 2024, when the club revealed Chancaly had suffered a partially torn ACL and would require season-ending surgery.
Since arriving from Racing Club in the summer of 2023, Chancalay has 31 appearances for the club, where he’s tallied 12 goals and one assist over 2,353 minutes.
