I’ve gotta be honest, I like this. Even without knowing much about the replacement, Kessler is just not my favorite player to watch. Some games he’s fine, some games he’s the reason we lose. Same problem I have with MAK.
But really everything comes down to how we look and shape up after this upcoming winter transfer window. Unlike the DeJuan Jones transfer, I’m pretty positive towards this one.
I am so bereft, utterly disconsolate right now. Why didn’t I take a bus and then the T to Encore Boston, where I would have put up my life savings that Kessler was going to be the next to go?
Porter is the step-dad that is cleaning and sweeping the house of all of his new wife’s kids and replacing them with his own brood of stooges. Obviously, Kessler was good as gone since he a)had the absolute gall to get injured and miss some games under Darth Vader’s Porter’s rule, and B) he reminded Porter that certain players had more tenure than step-dad.
Kessler was a valiant, tough player for Revs through thick and thin. I'm not enough of a fan to ever have heard him speak, but elite professional soccer has become a meat market grinding the players into over-trained obediant cogs.
I'm not into "grades" for this or that front-office machination, now coming fast and furious for the relegation-bound Revs - oops, wrong continent. Luckily, no pro-rel for Caleb to blame upon his inherited players.
I've done a little research and can't find anything regarding Leagues Cup and players being cup tied. Can someone from TBM get a definitive answer about this? Tim Parker has already played for StLC in this competition.
