The playoff change sounds fine, but if the season calendar switches I’m definitely not renewing my season tickets. Most of the games I can go to happen between May and August and that sounds like it’ll be our new offseason. Freezing my toes off in February is already a hard ask and I only ever do it for season openers. Good luck getting people out for games when it’s just a random game.
I know the opposite argument can be made in places like Texas and Florida, but at least as a spectator and season ticket holder in New England, I think trying to have more games mid-winter sounds like a horrible idea.

I’m okay with it, as long as we’d start with a road-exclusive schedule for at least January and February.
And then, how would you manage the transition - have 2027 only be a half-season?
gonna need a retractable roof on that stadium
