"We weren’t naive at all on the calibre of this team...I said it would be one of the best teams that our players would ever play, and we got humbled today.”
Porter’s comments about the first 20 minutes are off the mark. Jones in particular did press high up the field. They actually tried to exert some pressure but failed to disrupt America at all.
I liked the 3-5-2 but at times we were playing a 3 3 5 . The wingbacks were high but needed to track back to help the midfielders more. We were overrun in the midfield frequently.
Who starts in goal on Saturday? Also, when he discusses finishing by other teams and chances created by the Revs… is he confident his team can score goals against MLS opponents?

They pressed, just inefficiently, as usual.
I found that interesting as well. He went on to say that he thought they did a better job getting the wingbacks forward towards the end of the half.
Please one of you with press credentials ask him about how he’s missed the playoffs over half or his head coaching years
Troll Force One preparing for takeoff! Please clear Caleb Porter's trophies off the runway so this guy can have his day in the sun.

What game is Porter talking about? Did we miss something?
