Peyton Miller Called Into U.S. U-20 Training Camp
The Revs defender will head to Egypt for training camp plus two friendly matches.
New England Revolution defender Peyton Miller is returning to the international stage as the 17-year-old was one of 22 names called up by Marko Mitrović for the upcoming United States U-20 training camp in June.
Miller and the U.S. U-20s will begin June's camp on the 2nd when they travel to Cairo, Egypt. After a few days of training, the U.S. U-20s will face off against Colombia on the 7th before facing host nation Egypt on the 10th.
June’s camp will allow Mitrović and his staff the opportunity to continue preparing for the upcoming FIFA Under-20 World Cup, taking place in Chile later this year.
June’s training camp also allows Peyton Miller to add to his international resume. The Unionville, Connecticut native has three caps with the U.S. U-16s, along with seven for the U-17s and four for the U-20s.
Miller has been on a meteoric rise since making his professional debut with Revolution II on March 26, 2023. After an impressive start to the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro season, the Revolution promoted Miller as they signed the then-15-year-old to a Homegrown deal on June 12, 2023, to make him the youngest signing in Revs history.
Since joining the Revs, Miller has appeared in 23 matches, where he tallied three assists over 1,655 minutes.
