Fantastic analysis! This highlight cracked me up "The Revs were 2-0 up against Inter Miami for six minutes in the first half of the season’s final game". Thanks for your great work Tom and the TBM team.
I think the article while good was still a bit to optimistic about the season. It made me look back at the Friedel era with fondness relatively speaking. How they continued to have such high attendance and such a dismal product is really beyond me.
There were some games that were pathetic in their lack of people in the seats, and others that seemed jam-packed, like maybe they were giving out free passes at IKEA or something phony.
Friedel, though- that's way beyond the pale horse.
ptimistic? I thought the article was hard-hitting, even brutal at times.
Seemed like, while the team mathematically had a chance in the 4th quarter to qualify for the playoffs, the players didn’t really have the belief necessary- or didn’t believe that just squeaking in would achieve much. This was a team ready to turn the page.
in other words, the only two good things about this Revs season: that its over, and the coverage from TBM & RR

Thanks Paul! Highlights were hard to come by.

I called it a complete and utter failure, one of the worst seasons in the teams history and said the 1st year coach should be fired for incompetence.
Anything more negative than that would border on being slanderous.
Not slander if it is true :) Keep up the good work.
Fair point, thanks Jay!

I don't see how keeping Porter makes this team better.
It doesn't.

It almost seemed like most of the players had no love for Porter and his style of play.
