The New England Revolution faced off against FC Cincinnati on Saturday evening as they returned for a month-long homestand with a 1-0 loss.

The Revs deployed a starting XI that featured some rotation as the club is dealing with injuries. The backline of Tanner Beason, Brayan Ceballos, and Mamadou Fofana played in front of goalkeeper Aljaz Ivacic. Peyton Miller and Ilay Feingold were on the flanks while Carles Gil, Alhassan Yusuf, and Matt Polster made up the midfield. Up front was the duo of Luis Diaz and Tomas Chancalay.

So what do you need to know about the match? Here are three thoughts.
