The New England Revolution faced off against Austin FC and played the Texas club to a nil-nil draw.

The Revs deployed a starting XI that featured some tweaks. Aljaz Ivacic started in net behind the center back trio of Tanner Beason, Brayan Ceballos, and Mamadou Fofana. Matt Polster and Alhassan Yusuf started in the midfield while Carles Gil started as a No. 10.

Will Sands and Brandon Bye started out wide while Tomas Chancalay and Luca Langoni were the forward pairing up top.

So what do you need to know about the match? Here are three thoughts.
