Midnight Riders Annual Golf Tournament and Charity Dinner Returns
After raising $17,000 last year, the supporters' group looks to raise more money for an incredible cause
The Midnight Riders' is hosting its Annual Golf Tournament and Charity Dinner, presented by the New England Revolution, at Cyprian Keyes Golf Club in Boylston, Massachusetts on September 28th.
Last year’s edition of the event saw the independent supporters’ group raise a staggering $17,000 for the Olivia Knighton Foundation. An organization founded by former Revs goalkeeper and current Revolution II goalkeeping coach Brad Knighton to honor the legacy of his late daughter.
This year’s event will raise money for the Golden Opportunities for Independence (GOFIDOG), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to fostering independence and improving the quality of life for children, veterans, and adults with disabilities by providing them with highly trained service dogs.
“After the record amount of money raised at the golf event last time, we are pushing to raise a similarly ambitious amount once again and ensure that GOFIDOG can continue its impactful mission at a time when it matters most,” Midnight Riders president Jeremy Goldenberg said.
The event, open to the general public, offers an exciting opportunity for attendees to hit the links for 18 holes of golf and have a delicious buffet meal while celebrating the occasion, participate in the silent auction and raffle prizes, enjoy music, meet special guests, and more activities.
“Everyone is encouraged to join us for this amazing event that welcomes folks from the New England soccer community and beyond for a fun occasion while supporting an incredible cause near and dear to our hearts,” Riders chairperson Jon Strauss said. “Each dollar raised will have a tremendous impact on GOFIDOG and their crucial work. We look forward to seeing everyone there.”
