This whole situation is being handled so much worse than Buchanan's. Really makes MLS and the Revs look foolish to possibly be losing the best goalkeeper in the league in the middle of a season with legit title winning aspirations.
It all depends on the $$$. Like it or not we’re a selling league. Petrovic was never going to stay here long term so if the money is more than right but the time is less than ideal than so be it. I don’t expect this deal to be any less than 15M$
TBM Deep Dive article idea: Looking at how much impact Kevin Hitchcock’s training and coaching had on Turner and Petrovic and in what ways. I know both goalies have been attributed with a great deal of inherent talent, but in what ways did they improve during their time with the Revs under Kevin’s guidance? (e.g. I’m pretty sure a focus for Petro early on was catching the ball more, while Turner, I think, did a lot of positional work though shifted to focusing on his foot skills as his national team and European aspirations became more real) I think it’d be interesting to learn about how some of that sausage is made, and maybe also provide some piece of mind in the face of the Chelsea transfer and knowing we’re not likely to find another Turner or Petro in the immediate future. How can we rely on the Revs’ keeper development to continue to find, maintain, and/or produce quality goalies?

I believe we got Petrovic for $750,000. and can sell him for $15M. I would take that deal any day. MLS championship doesn't pay that much.
In Bruce's absence, who negotiates deals? Is it even Bruce to begin with?
Per The Athletic, Curt Onalfo is serving as interim Sporting Director
Also, Chris Tierney

What does Atlanta want for Cohen’s discovery rights? What was the most recent “trade” that involved a similar transaction?
