Ignatius Ganago Placed on Short-Term Injured List
A quad injury will see the Cameroon international miss at least six matches.
Forward Ignatius Ganago is set to miss some time as the New England Revolution placed him on the short-term injured list.
Friday’s news comes after the 26-year-old suffered a quad strain while on international duty with Cameroon.
According to a press release from the club, Ganago is slated to miss at least six games due to the quad injury, which means we won’t see Ganago on the pitch until at least the July 16 road match against the New York Red Bulls. It could take longer, depending on his recovery process.
Since arriving on loan from French side Nantes, Ganago has appeared in 15 matches for the Revs, where he tallied one goal and three assists over 1,251 minutes.
I don’t think Ganago has been great for us, but unfortunately I don’t know if we have a good striker to fill this position. Hope this stretch of games gives Chancalay some minutes to get back
How’d he do with his nat team?
