Ignatius Ganago Called Up to Cameroon National Team
The Revolution forward will join Cameroon for a pair of friendlies in Morocco next month.
Ignatius Ganago is returning to the international stage as the Revolution forward received a call-up to the Cameroon National Team ahead of the nation’s upcoming pair of friendlies in June.
June 6 will see Ganago square off against fellow Rev Allan Oyirwoth as Cameroon faces Uganda. Cameroon will wrap up June’s window with a meeting against Guinea on June 9.
Next month’s friendlies allow the 26-year-old the opportunity to add to his international resume. Since making his international debut on October 12, 2019, the Douala native has 15 caps for the Cameroon National Team, where he amassed 565 minutes.
Since arriving in New England on loan, Ganago has appeared in all 13 MLS matches for the Revolution, where he tallied one goal and three assists over 1,098 minutes.
So, what Rev games will he miss?
