Of course Arena is going to minimize it (now that he’s been reinstated and hired), nevertheless I think he’s not back here either because he saw what a mess Revs management made of things during his suspension, or that he was undermined by those in the organization jealous of or threatened by his level of power/control.

Considering the other assistant coaches that either were sent packing or left on their own, including Revs all-time hero Shalrie Joseph, plus Arena, for that little bit of “joking around in private” by Arena, this must have included some real zingers about Richie Williams’s height. Is that our final conclusion? Arena kept singing “Short People” by Randy Newman, is that it?
Arena seems to think it was all a nothing-burger. Maybe Jonathan Kraft can tell us some of the flavor of the jokes? Yeah, right. He’s too busy campaigning for his father to get into the Pro Football HOF.
Glad to see Bruce back with San Jose. To bad we are stuck with the three stooges Onalfo and Williams and stooge number three Porter. San Jose will do better the Revs by far.
