Emma Hayes Names April Camp Roster

Tuesday saw Emma Hayes announce the United States Women’s National Team roster as the nation prepares for an April training camp that features two friendlies against Brazil.
The search for a new starting goalkeeper following Alyssa Naeher’s retirement continues as Hayes brought in Houston’s Jane Campbell, Utah’s Mandy McGlynn, and Manchester United’s Phallon Tullis-Joyce.
Kansas City’s Alana Cook, Gotham’s Tierna Davidson and Emily Sonnet, PSG’s Crystal Dunn, Arsenal’s Emily Fox, Washington’s Tara McKeown, Houston’s Avery Patterson, and Orlando’s Emily Sams form the U.S. backline.
PSG’s Korbin Albert, Portland’s Sam Coffey, Olympique Lyon’s Lindsey Heaps, Kansas City’s Claire Hutton, North Carolina’s Jaedyn Shaw, and Ajax’s Lily Yohannes form the midfield.
Kansas City’s Michelle Cooper, Washington’s Ashley Hatch and Trinity Rodman, Chelsea’s Catarina Macario, Houston’s Yazmeen Ryan, Utah’s Ally Sentnor, and Angel City’s Alyssa Thompson form the attack.
April’s camp will give Phallon Tullis-Joyce and Avery Patterson the chance to earn their first international cap.
The USWNT will open the international window on Saturday, April 5 when they host Brazil inside SoFi Stadium at 5:00 PM ET before traveling to PayPal Park to host Brazil on Tuesday, April 8 at 10:30 PM ET.
