So previously, Romney was "not good enough", but now, we have great confidence. Amazing. This is a no-win situation for Romney. He hasn't had time on the field with his new teammates, but will be expected to do what Kessler could not. If he does well, he will be on the trading block, I am guessing. Sigh.

I think Dave is better player Henry. But that is my opinion.

This is probably one of the last times we see him in a Revs uniform, so enjoy it!

Also, I’m totally fine with us not being in the past two Wednesday game days because hopefully we make up all of our games when we have a better run of form.

First let me pick myself up off the floor as this headline took me by total surprise. It is amazing how Porter had said in the past that Romney wasn't good enough to play now he has the highest of praise that he does. What has changed in Porter's thinking. We all knew Dave was a good player all along. Porter is such a BSA wish we could just send him packing ASAP

Will be nice to see Romney on the pitch and hope he makes Porter eats his words.

I think we're nitpicking Porter's comments a little too much - of course he's going to say positive things about his players that are moving back into the lineup - and he should.

I think much of his issue with Romney is that he wants better passers in his central defense, so to me, that's what will be the key factor in whether Romney re-emerges or if this is a one-off. We know he can defend, but if he relies purely on clearances and safe, un-ambitious passes when he has the ball then we'll probably see Kessler back next game.

It's just you don't know what end Porter is talking from. He is not a great coach but great at putting the blame on someone else and not taking any of it himself. He has destroyed this team.
