Uninspiring move. New role for him as a sporting director, not the time for this with a veteran roster ready to win now. After the in-fighting and complete dumpster fire internally new leadership was needed. Terribly unimpressed with how he handled himself in front of the media as well, very arrogant and condescending.

Gives me little hope now for a strong appointment at head coach.

Baloney man! Feels like Revs are trying to lose fans this year.

Boooo! Zero ambition. And after the Vaclik saga, signing a player without consulting the coach who will work with him? This sucks, man.

Whatever signing bonus he gets goes to Hitchcock for signing a keeper who can’t walk and making him deal with it

I mean, Onalfo def did poorly but from reports Hitchcock froze out Vaclik which is also super unprofessional

Big mistake. Can see another lack luster season. I wouldn't blame the guys when their contracts expire to look to else were. I for one don't feel good about this. Another poor season I can see many people heading Rhode Island and supporting the new team there.

If the Revs move to Everett, for sure people closer to Foxboro than Everett will at least give them and their stadium a go.

I for one will not drive to Everett.

Yeah, we're season ticket holders in Grafton. No chance we're going to Everett 17 times a year. I know Gillette isn't great for 20,000 fans but it's an absolute breeze to attend games there.

I’m in the same boat. Long time season ticket holder. I would probably go to a few game a season in Everett but would not maintain season tickets there. But I mean... I get it. SSS anywhere is good for the clubs future.

Good because there won't be parking for you. And that's great because it'll be T-accessible. If they can get it done it's gonna be huge for the club

Probably a good jump in ticket prices and you have to pay for parking and pay to ride the T. It all adds up.

God damn. He needs to have the greatest fucking off-season (including the coaching hire) to make me feel good about this. After the fucking mess of the staff this year I wish it was someone else. I guess tbf he has done great work with the academy. I just want to know what his disagreements with Bruce were. It was reported he and Bruce disagreed on a lot of signings. I want to know what signings and where Onalfo stands.... Curt better be perfect, man. After this fucking staffing and coaching disaster?? He has to be absolutely perfect for this to be worth it

And it’s official. Never rated him as a coach but he’s done good work with Revs 2 and Youth Academy. It should translate well into first team.

Have any coaching candidates been clearly identified?
