Not questioning his abilities as a soccer player -- he's clearly the most skilled player on the team. But I've never thought he's the best choice to be the in-game leader and motivator for the team. He spends way too much time complaining fruitlessly; he gives up clear opportunities to pass to open teammates and instead opts to pass to "preferred" teammates; when he's frustrated, which is visible and often, he'll take low-risk, poor shots instead of finding an open teammate. This team desperately needs an in-game leader and motivator -- they need a CAPTAIN. I don't think it's Carles, although there's really no other choice.

Carles, is working harder than anyone. Unfortunately, he is our only spark. Without him we are dead last. The chances of him playing in every game healthy are about nil. Doesn't the team see it? When are we going to make a splash with new players in this transfer window? Crickets.

Capi is class! Probably the only reason I go to the games, I love watching him work.

I give him credit. He goes out there and performs, but he's only 1 player, and for sure, he gets hit more than anyone. He needs help. NOW. Not more Porter players, and preferably NOT more of Porter.

"We are going to try to continue to work hard and change everything." Thanks, Captain, why don't you just do it and not try to do it.

Takes 11 men, not just one. Have you not paid attention to his contribution thus far?
