It gives us another attacking option, short term and long term, and obviously it made sense, because we’re using that U22 mechanism to continue to build a more robust and competitive roster.”
Best case if he plays Sept 6 he would get 6 games in. Too little too late to help us this year. Knowing that the P-1 and ITC take time why not try to get this done at the beginning of the window rather than the end. I guess the Mike Burns influence still runs through the front office. #PorterOut
7 of his goals were PK's out of 16 in 2,075 minutes played so he scores a non penelty goal every 230 minutes. If he had the same output for the Revs this year he would have scored 10 goals (assuming Gil's minutes of 2.338 which is a big assumption)

I'm coming to Leo Campana's defense here. It's pretty obvious that Porter doesn't know how to use players, or maybe it's the game plan. Yes, Leo's missed a few he should have put in. But in the previous three years at Miami, per 90, he averaged 0.56 expected goals. This year, he's at 0.34 (yes, few more minutes at Miami). At Miami, he average 0.68 goal contributions per season. Here, it is HALF at 0.34. There's no way this is all on him. This team's attack is way too conservative.
The Scarecrow Porter thinks Turgeman is versatile. Didn't he think to check out the kid before getting him? Oh that is right scarecrows don't have a brain.
I’m sure Caleb can’t wait to coach whatever talent is there right out of him

Sam - can you clarify how many of his goals were penalty kicks? Thanks.

Thanks very much Jay. I think this number should help to temper our expectations.
