A Scouting Report For Dor Turgeman
"Turgeman, for me, is the most talented striker that came out of Israel in the last few year."
The New England Revolution added to their attack by signing 21-year-old striker Dor Turgeman.
The Israeli international last played for Maccabi Tel Aviv, where he collected 32 goals and 10 assists in 114 appearances.
Revolution head coach Caleb Porter called Turgeman “versatile,” noting that he can play up top alone or with a partner. He can also feature out wide.
“A good, young player,” Porter told media. “He has quality around goal. He’s a natural finisher. He’s mobile, so he can move; he’s athletic. Individually, he can create for himself, as well, off the dribble if he needs to. Good profile, and again, a good young player who has quality.”
To get more insight on Turgeman, we spoke Raz Amir, who has been covering Israeli soccer for 12 years.
